Seasick Sally Posted November 30, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2005 We got our documents today and there was no cabin assigned. When does the cruise line tell you which cabin has been assigned to you with a guarenteed booking?
wrp96 Posted November 30, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2005 They can tell you anytime from just after you book to when you arrive at the pier. If it wasn't on your docs, you may not know until you arrive at the ship.
Rare geoherb Posted November 30, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2005 We booked a guarantee cabin for our upcoming HAL cruise (Dec. 17). Our docs came this weekend. So far, we don't have a cabin assignment. I keep checking the website to see if we have one yet. It doesn't bother me. I'm hoping the longer they take the better our chances for an upgrade. (Although I'll be fine in any cabin in our guarantee category.)
kimcruiser Posted December 1, 2005 #4 Share Posted December 1, 2005 what ship are you on? from what I have read on these boards, if you look at the sail and sign page, at the bottom of the page, are a series of numbers and you cabin number should be right after an asterick (if you are on a carnival ship). hope this helps. Bonnie J. Posted December 2, 2005 #5 Share Posted December 2, 2005 When you check your bags with the porter he will look up your cabin on the master list & give you luggage tags for that deck. You put cabin number on & go check in. Done this a few times and on NCL we just got our docs via email with instructions to get tags from porter and we know our cabin number! Never had a problem with this!
