Breeze - Chefs Table - July 2017 FANTASTIC!! - Part 1

Went to the Chefs Table for some grub... was not disappointed!!

 

I won't bore you with words... here are pics for everything we ate. Ill try to answer any questions you have but all in all Id say I loved the courses and the food AND I'd do it again even with the same menu. It was that tasty.

 

 

First was some Parmesan and Olives

 

 

 

 

Then was assorted fresh breads and fresh tomato spread made with walnut and garlic

 

 

 

 

Next up was Spring Pea's and Matcha Soup

 

 

 

 

Next and my FAVORITE... Berkshire Pork Belly with Shrimp - Veil of yuzu mustard, crustacean essence

Slow Cooked Crispy Lamb - Roasted Beets and Port Jus

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Olive Oil Poached Seabass - Asparagus and White Miso

 

 

 

 

Quail, Wild Mushrooms and Carnaroli - Parmesan, Pepper Threads, Roasted Onion Jus

And the menu... which I'm told is new... either way it was fantastic and well worth the time and money.

Next was Chocolate Hazelnut

If hes a foody... I am for the most part... Have him ask to take pics and/or vid of the folks preparing the dishes! I didnt think of this this till I was done with dinner and was actually pissed off at myself. Preparation is so much of the job that these guys do and all i tool pics of was the final product.

 

See if you can get in there behind the counter rather than just sitting at the table.

We did this on the Vista. The menu was the same and was so good. The only thing that wasn't amazing to me was the pea soup, but then again... I don't like peas. :) The special room in the galley on Vista was a great experience too!

We just went to the Chef's Table a few weeks ago on Pride. It was the older menu but since we hadn't visited Cheef's Table in seven years it was new to us. This looks like a great menu. Thanks for sharing.

When did they inform you of the date and time of the dinner? Also, where did you meet up with the other guests?

When we were on Pride, we received our confirmation the first sea day and we met the chef in the main lobby.

Does anyone know if this is the menu on all of the ships, we will be on the Sunshine in September and didn't want to do it if it was the same menu we had on the Pride in November of 2015. This menu looks great.

Ah, thank for posting the pictures and the menu. I have done the Chef's Table now for several cruises and always look forward to it. The last time as on the CARNIVAL BREEZE last August. I am booked for the August 27 AND September 3 sailing, and confirmed for the Chef's Table the first leg, and seriously considering doing it for the second as well. Especially now that I see the new menu and pictures. I am salivating.

Sometimes if you search the ship name and "Chef's Table" you can find threads in this forum. I haven't heard whether or not this menu has been rolled out fleet-wide yet, I know it started on the Vista.....
