Carnival Breeze balconies booked out already for January?

So I was looking at a January sailing of the Breeze today and the first 5 categories of balcony cabins are sold out. I'm assuming a large corporate group has come in and booked them considering its still 6 months away and Galveston ships don't book out this far in advance. I googled the ship and sail date with no results showing a group booking. Any ideas how else I might find out?

Just curious what date you were looking at. I am booked on the Breeze 01/21/17 and I know that cat. 8D has been sold out for a while. I know because that is the category I booked and I check prices once in a while. I haven't checked any other categories.

You are only six months out, so I am not surprised.

There are cruises that I am looking at for December 2018 where balcony categories are already sold out.

Don't give up, check back in a couple months. When final payment is due, the rooms that TA's have on hold will go back to Carnival, as well as a few cancellations usually take place around that time.

I just checked fareviewer and the most limited is Jan 28, but there were most categories showing. But I only checked for 2 people, so maybe it is the number that matters. EM

Good point. I was checking our own sailing recently, and if I enter 3 people or 4, there is nothing, but with only 2, while limited, there are a number of balcony rooms.

I agree. The reckoning period is the final payment due date.
