Purchasing onboard credit

Recommended Posts

GM- quick question! I want to buy OBC from royal prior to my cruise. If I don't don't it all, can I get the remainder back? Does it go on a gift card? Can I cash it out at the casino?

Thanks

OBC that you purchase is fully refundable, and you can get a cash refund of any remaining refundable OBC at Guest Services on the last day.

Or, if you have a credit card on file with the ship, any remaining balance is credited to the card, normally within 2 - 3 days in my experience

How long does it take for the OBC to be added to your account? I bought some the other day and have not seen it hit my account, but it did go through on my credit card. Thanks.

Should not take more than a few days. I'd wait up to 10 business days and if you don't see it then, I'd call them.
