Hey Tina Posted August 10, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2017 Has anyone successfully gotten a larger discount if the price on their MSC cruise increased before final payment deadlines? I booked a Aurea balcony but I was waffling about upgrading to a Yacht Club (yep, you heard me) because with my 10% interline discount and my TA rate it was about what I expected to pay for the Aurea balcony thorough MSC directly but now the price has dropped. So I'm wondering if I can get my 10% discount (for example a $300 discount if the fare is 3k) and then if the price increases call back and get a larger discount (3.5k fare, $350 discount, etc)
frank808 Posted August 10, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2017 Umm why would you want to pay more? $3000-$300=$2700 $3500-$350=$3150 Even though the dollar off is greater the basebprice has also gone up. It was DEEPLY discounted and so I don't think it will ever go any lower. Because the discount is larger. Come get some ham! How much you wanna make a bet I could throw a football over them mountains? wisdom4all Posted August 19, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 19, 2017 My grandma was going with us on our upcoming cruise this fall, but she took a spill at the sand dunes today. Broke her coccyx! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
