emdia43 Posted August 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Nope. You don't have it scanned in the machine at the gangway?
mad-dog74 Posted August 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 14, 2017 You should not even have to give it to them... you "scan" it yourself... they usually call u by name and verify your picture.
Clarea Posted August 14, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 14, 2017 You don't have it scanned in the machine at the gangway? Yes, the card must be scanned. On Harmony, the card has an RFID chip.
johno95 Posted August 14, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted August 14, 2017 so to scan it do u have to remove it from my see-through carrier?
LeeW Posted August 14, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 14, 2017 so to scan it do u have to remove it from my see-through carrier? As host Bob has already answered, nope. However if you have an anti-RFID sleeve on the card instead of clear plastic it isn't going to work.

You don't have it scanned in the machine at the gangway? Yes, but none of the ships uses the slots any more. The staff have hand-held scanners.
