Is there any benefit to booking next cruise while on board?

Benefits are the additional OBC and one free change (which may not be so valuable if booking from US where deposits are refundable).

My current strategy is to book on board a long time in advance, and rely on the 'one free change' in case my plans change. I found the future cruise staff to be of mixed quality, some very good, helpful and efficient; and one who was generally useless (barely able to book a cruise).

Their connection is slow, so I would recommend picking the cruise you want to book before you board, and then leaving them the details.

On Divina, I heard the next cruise staff are slow and rude and have long lines, not appointments.

Should I book from home or wait until on board in a couple of weeks.?

Additional OBC. My advice is to book early during the week when it is not busy.
