Southampton Embarkation

We travel from Southampton this week and have received an email from RCCL telling us Embarkation times according to deck number.

 

We are all travelling down together however part of our family are Platinum status and plan to check in around 12-1pm. The problem is we are relatively new to cruising and only Gold status and the email states our deck Embarkation is 3pm.

 

Is this strictly enforced or will we get on with our other family members who are Platinum and on a higher deck.

Very unlikely to be enforced - go join the other family members.

You may board at any time and with whomever you desire. You can also be in the same line as your traveling companions regardless of status. No big deal.

We boarded earlier than our scheduled time. We were supposed to board in the noon hour, but we got there around 11ish and we were on board by 1145. This was our first RCI cruise, so no status! LOL!

Boarding times aren't really enforced at Southampton. But I think they separate the lines to check in - one for Platinum and above one for Gold and first timers - so you may not all be in the same queue unless it's under one reservation
