JustUs275 Posted August 20, 2017 #27 Share Posted August 20, 2017 We don't bring formal clothes along on cruises (or any vacations), but I do enjoy seeing others in their tuxes and gowns on formal nights. I'm not "jealous", but I do feel a twang of awwww....maybe we should have brought formal clothes! You will see a wide array of clothing even on formal nights. Enjoy your cruise and don't worry about what others may think! :)
Cloudsipping Posted August 20, 2017 #28 Share Posted August 20, 2017 I went on a cruise in July. I choose not to bring formal clothing. On formal night, I saw many many people in suits, tuxes, and all manner of dresses/pantsuits. ( i avoided the MDR and bars/casino so they could have their dress-up fun) I saw them on the way to the windjammer and pool deck. They looked very handsome and beautiful. I was not jealous at all. I thought they looked nice and complimented quite a few. You will not be out of place. Go and enjoy yourself!
Ery Posted August 20, 2017 #29 Share Posted August 20, 2017 I know another formal question, but I love to dress up and so does my daughter. We are on oasis and for the two formal nights want to wear long formal dresses. (We never get to do that at home) Will we look way overdressed and out of place? Thanks I wore long dresses for formal night on our last three Oasis trips- as did many others. We love dressing up. cstimmons Posted August 20, 2017 #30 Share Posted August 20, 2017 We always do late dinner and honestly feel like scrubs still wearing pool clothes at 5pm. But we always get dressed up on formal nights. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
