OCBon Posted August 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2017 Is there a policy on Celebrity for bringing plug adapters on board?
Rare markeb Posted August 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2017 What are you considering a plug adapter? If you're talking US to Euro to use a multi-voltage device on the European outlets, no. Simple pass through adapters (such as 3-way splitters) don't appear to be on the prohibited list (although as at home should be used with caution to avoid an overload situation). Anything with outlets and a cord, even if not officially prohibited, seems to be subject to seizure (extension cords, power strips, etc.). Anything recognizable as surge protected will likely be held, and there are numerous posts explaining why they shouldn't be used (and are generally unnecessary) on the ship . Rare cruisestitch Posted August 23, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2017 If you are wanting a simple US - European plug adaptor so you can expand to having three outlets instead of two, there is no problem. If you are talking about something that has a cord or that has a surge protector, they are not allowed.

Hit submit too soon and don't look at your post until you can't edit! It was supposed to say no problem with a US to Euro adapter (as cruisestitch also replied).
