Side-entry Inside Cabins

Does anyone have any experience with side-entry accessible cabins (especially on the Dream)? These were the only inside accessibles available in the spa area when we booked. Now that I looked at the photos, I am concerned that they actually would have less space than a traditional cabin because of the configuration and appear to have only 2 closets instead of 3. How did you feel about the cabin?

I think that, in general, the accessible cabins have less storage space. Because the doors are wider, things have to be rearranged to fit against the remaining wall space. Just plan on having less storage and you will still be fine, as CArnival generally has a lot more storage than is really required for the typical 7 day cruise.

We stayed in a side entry cabin on the Sunshine and found that it actually had more open space and just as much or more storage. I have included a diagram for you to compare, note...they are not to scale, just a rough estimate.

The configuration really allows more space.
