GeneBK Posted August 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2017 We have enjoyed many Seabourn cruises, all on the Odyssey class ships. Now, we are considering a cruise on the Encore. Mealtime is very important to us. We enjoy a peaceful table-for-two; it's our quiet, connection time each day. On the Odyssey ships, the dining room works nicely---plenty of tables-for-two, nicely positioned. However, the Colonnade presents a challenge---only five tables for two in the entire restaurant. And, the room seems compressed and has a high energy feel. What's the situation on the Encore?? Thanks!!
2SailingNomads Posted August 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2017 There are plenty of tables for 2 in both venues on the Encore. And the Colonnade on the Encore has more room between the tables, making it easier to navigate the room.
ab21au Posted August 25, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 25, 2017 Most nights we had a table for 2 in the MDR and sometimes the Colonnade recently on the Encore and had no problem getting them. We even requested particular areas to sit in so that we were served by particular staff. Where possible, those allocating tables try to satisfy requests.
