Experienced cruisers but new to MSC....why ill never know!

Looking forward to Fantasia and purchasing the deluxe drinks package.

Can anyone advise if all coffee is included?....iced coffees being the reason for the question.

And simply....What is NOT included?

Thank you

Frankie

The Deluxe drinks package is the premium package which does include premium coffees. However, iced coffees are included in the basic (All-inclusive Restaurant & Bar drinks) package so that would be a cheaper option for you. Iced coffee price on Meraviglia was €1.70 + 15% service charge. You'd need to drink quite a few per day if that's the only reason you're purchasing a drinks package. You could consider a coffee package which is €26 if pre-booked which is a saving of €3.30 approx:

"Let the velvety warmth of our coffee delights conquer your soul! 15 coffee drinks, including cappuccino, caffelatte, espresso, non-alcoholic coffee delights, frozen coffee drinks, as well as hot chocolate and hot tea. The drinks included in this package can be consumed in bars."

The only items NOT included on the Deluxe package are those with 2 asterisks next to them on the bar menus which are Super Premium and aren't included in ANY packages. For an idea of what is included, take a look at the bar menu from Meraviglia on this thread. From post #70:

This list is a comprehensive one from one of the major bars on the ship, so all items listed won't be available ship-wide.

Thank you for the speedy reply.

No sorry to misslead you but iced coffee is something (well one of many!) that my partner enjoys, not the sole reason for chosen the deluxe version.

Please correct me but I think the uplift is bottled beer, increased wine selection (by the glass), premium spirits and cocktails, the mini bar in the room, plus additions such as pastries and ice cream?

Yes - you're correct:

ALL-INCLUSIVE DELUXE DRINK PACKAGE A. Drink all you want, where you want, in total freedom and with a light heart! Unlimited consumption of premium spirits, classic and premium cocktails, selection of fine wines by the glass, draught and bottled beer, soft drinks, juices, premium mineral water, coffee-based drinks, chocolate-based specialties, non-alcoholic cocktails, smoothies, milk shakes, energy drinks, drinks and snacks from the minibar, drinks ordered through room service, as well as delights from thematic bar menus, fresh fruit cocktails, freshly squeezed juices, and food from the room service menu. Bottles of wine and champagne are not included in the package; however, when purchased in restaurants and bars, will be available at 30% discount from the menu price. The following items are not included in the package: tobacco, souvenir glasses and food served in the specialty restaurants. The drinks included in package can be consumed in all bars, self-service buffet and restaurants including the specialty restaurants (minibar included.

Also the special fresh fruit drinks at the Spa bar - worth taking a trip for! There's a specialist cocktail menu - Mixology - available in the Manhattan bar on deck 7 (IIRC) which the deluxe package also covers.
