brandid82 Posted August 31, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2017 You'll have better luck commenting this on the roll call for your sailing. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Alaskan_Kate Posted August 31, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2017 My first NCL cruise will be in December; however, most other cruise lines I've been on have at least a "Friends of Dorothy" meeting daily. IDK what that would be like on NCL, but hopefully a good group of people!
wdsted Posted August 31, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 31, 2017 There are LGTB meet ups every night on all ships. Just look for it on the Freestyle Daily schedule. NCL has been moving away from calling it Friends of Dorothy for a while, thank God! Sent from my iPad using Forums
garycarla Posted August 31, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 31, 2017 As said, best to check out the Roll Call. Check out the dailies once you board.
newmexicoNita Posted August 31, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 31, 2017 Friends of Dorothy meeting nightly or close to nightly and of course, there will be lots of LGBT members on the ship. As mentioned check the roll call.
boatseller Posted August 31, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 31, 2017 Expect to see a Friends of Dorothy event at 7ish in Tobacco Road. It's not 'organized' in any way, just show up at least the first and second night.
yankees111 Posted September 1, 2017 #8 Share Posted September 1, 2017 FFS it's a Cruise ship with thousands of people on vacation, why can't people just enjoy it, with other people? Exactly. No need to separate into individual groups. Let everyone hang together and get along! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
DMH15 Posted September 1, 2017 #9 Share Posted September 1, 2017 Exactly. No need to separate into individual groups. Let everyone hang together and get along! Sent from my iPhone using Forums Isn't that what WE do having a CRUISE CRITIC MEET AND GREET for US. Humans have been having group meetings since we were cave men. It is a way we share commonalities. And I personally enjoy experiencing, if not participating if I am not so inclined, different groups, cultures, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
