flying-dutchman Posted September 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Hi all, I'm looking for a transfer from Port Everglades to Miami Beach on the 1st of November. We're traveling with a 1,5 year old, so we need to have a child seat (or transfer in a coach, as that does not require a child seat). We're cruising with Royal Caribbean, but they don't offer transfers that ends in Miami Beach (only at FLL or MIA airport). Do you have tips?? Regards, Jasper

JohninDC Posted September 6, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2017 You can request an Uber with a car seat, but there are very few available and they are pricey. I would bring my own car seat - one that you know is sized correctly and well maintained - and tip the driver a few extra bucks for the time spent installing and removing the seat; UberX (good for 2-3 passenger plus bags) from PE to Miami Beach will run about $30-35, depending upon where you want to be dropped off. Ashland Posted September 6, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Try South Florida Shuttles (private company with car seats we have used) (954) 227-0311 http://www.southfloridashuttles.com
flying-dutchman Posted September 8, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted September 8, 2017 Thanks you all for your tips! Bringing our own child-seat is not a real option as we are traveling by air from Europe and we don't want to travel too heavy. We managed to reserve a transfer using www.southfloridashuttles.com. 80USD exc gratuity.

Glad you took my suggestion.....We had a great experience using them when we recently (March) traveled with extended family that included our 3 year old toddler grandson.
