kalajori Posted September 14, 2017 #29 Share Posted September 14, 2017 We evacuated to our daughter's home in Nashville and were hoping to head back today. However, our home, which is located in the Hammock area of Palm Coast in Flagler County, is still without power so we are staying another day or two. Thoughts and prayers to all affected by the recent storms. Joanmarie and Dick

juju2454 Posted September 23, 2017 #31 Share Posted September 23, 2017 We just heard from a friend we do business with in St Maartin, on the main front street. He said there is a lot of damage and all but they will be okay. I was writing everyday to check on him and he just wrote back today.. He runs a business there, The Jewelry boutique, we frequent when we are in Sxm. So there is good things going on there and they are trying to rebuild. Trainman-2 Posted September 23, 2017 #32 Share Posted September 23, 2017 We were 10 days without power and just got our AT&T Landline back a few hours ago. One of our favorite fish camps had 2' of water from the storm surge along the St John's River. They are busy cleaning up and hope to reopen next week. We were lucky. The wind speed in our area never went above 100 mph. Lots of branches and palm fronds down but no damage or flooding for us.
