Any news on Port Canaveral this morning?

We live in the area and I had to drive up to work at Cape Canaveral AFS this morning. Oasis of the Seas and Carnival Magic were back in port. Much of Cape Canaveral didn't have water and many still without power this morning. We're south of Cocoa Beach and just got power back a couple hours ago. We have friends that live across from the beach and they only got minimal water damage in their house. Most of the hotels look in pretty good condition save some minor superficial damage. FPL has said they hope to have the east coast back up by the end of the weekend, so I would expect most of them to be up and running again in the next few days.

 

Quite a few of the bars, restaurants, and gas stations in the area are already opened back up, albeit many with some form of limited service available. We most definitely came out pretty well over here from the storm.

I'm hoping to hear about Radisson at the Port soon as well! Driving down on Saturday to get on Oasis on Sunday.

I just called the Radisson 800 number, as of now the current plan is to open on the 16th. FWIW.
