Lizard755 Posted September 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2017 I have one of these booked for July for 3 adults, but now every time I go in to check for a price change or different room it only allows 2 adults. The specs state up to 4 adults but will not allow you to search any longer for 3 or 4? Rooms are available with the sofa bed just like the room I have booked. Should I be concerned for my current booking?
Clarea Posted September 12, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2017 I don't see anything to be concerned about.
rum & monkey Posted September 12, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2017 It maybe that the muster Station is close to capacity. There are more beds in each section than the muster stations will allow. I don't know the numbers but say there are 350 seats on a life boat, the muster station capacity for all rooms in muster station C-1 would be 350. There maybe 400 possible beds in rooms in section C-1 which means as the section starts to fill up some of those 3-4 berth cabins will only be allowed to book 2 people. Hope it makes sense. If your worried though call Royal Caribbean (maybe a few times as you will probably get a different answer each time you call). Ocean Boy Posted September 12, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2017 It probably has more to do with how the ship is booked. If they have cabins to fill RCI might not allow cabins to be sold with more than two occupants as they make more money selling another cabin than they do by adding a 3rd person into a sold cabin. If you already have the cabin with three booked into it you should be fine.
