Kate45 Posted September 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2017 going to Denali for two nites after HAL cruise. Staying at their Denali chalet. Looking for info on costs of eating and drinking there. HALs pkg is $249 for two days. Seems kind of pricey but I don't know what they charge. mapleleaves Posted September 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2017 menus are usually posted on the hotel web sites. If for some reason HAL's isn't, look at the Princess site. Their prices will be similar.
mapleleaves Posted September 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 14, 2017 depending on what activities you have planned, you may not be around for lunch so keep that in mind. If you're doing a shuttle into the park, you'll probably want to pick up a boxed lunch for the bus ride. They run $10 - $15 pp.
Rare Crew News Posted September 15, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 15, 2017 going to Denali for two nites after HAL cruise. Staying at their Denali chalet. Looking for info on costs of eating and drinking there. HALs pkg is $249 for two days. Seems kind of pricey but I don't know what they charge. I had the meals package in June and found it not worth the cost since I could not eat the huge desserts at each meal. All meals were not included so read the fine print before deciding. A lunch box is included in the price of the Tundra Wilderness Tour (cookies, crackers, snacks, etc.) Here are the menus for the Canyon Steakhouse at the top of the hill in McKinley Lodge. The food is amazing for dinner. I did not eat there for lunch or breakfast. The Kersten House Restaurant is down by the chalets where the breakfast buffet is $15.99 for continental and $18.99 for entrees.
