Docking in Juneau

Going on the Volendam next year and wondered if this ship usually docks at the CT dock? I see a ship there right now on the cam and it looks like it.

 

The other docks look fairly far down.

There was a time when I would have said "No changes in docks from one year to another".

But with more and more ships sailing to Alaska, nothing is certain as to what docks ships will be assigned to this far out.

That other dock, about a 1/4 of mile??

FWIW, when we were in Juneau on Amsterdam, Volendam was right behind us. We were near the parking garage/library building. She was next to the Mt Roberts Tram. (I don't know the dock designations, sorry.) A Disney ship was at the far dock, the other side of the fishing boat area. I remember being at that dock on Zuiderdam many years ago.

VODM will more than likely use CT Dock next year. If not, she'll even be closer at the AS Dock
