NOS Dec31th 2005 How to get a cabin upgrade?

We are going to on the NOS dec 31th for 7 days how would we get a cabin upgrade at the pier?

go early and find the pier co-ordinator - if there are any upgrades to be had, he will help you out- but go early- we had heard calling rccl a few days before you could get an upgrade for less than the published fares- called 4 days out, then 3 days out , then 2 etc.... no deal- our ship came in 2 hours late the day we were to board so everything was delayed and they would not let passengers near the terminal so we just waited til like 2 to go back to try to board- by then, all upgrades had been taken so we missed out - good luck and let us know how you did upgrading!

Chanc eof an upgrade on a New years cruise is probably very, very low as it is probably one of the highest booked dates.

Plus, there are usually no better deal than you can get now...if you want an upgrade, call RCCL and buy it now.

We will be on this cruise also. Dont know what you want to upgrade to but as of todays date RCCL website is showing only Interior and ocean view cabins available. Balconys and Suites are all gone. There is also a thread for this cruise under Roll Call.
