They are doing renovations in the departure lounge at the moment which means a crowded loud space. Very little seating.

 

If you don't have the luxury of being able to use your airlines lounge then I heartily recommend the Strata Lounge.

 

You can book online, NZ$49 for three hours.

 

Complimentary papers, high speed internet, to, hot and cold snacks and drinks - hot/cold/alcoholic, all self serve.

 

It's peaceful with heaps of comfy chairs - the perfect way to start our holiday.

That was formerly the Emperor Lounge I believe? Was there before renovations and it was still nice place, and much quieter than being out in the terminal area!

The lounges are generally a great way to escape a lot of the noise and find comfortable seating.
