computerworks Posted September 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2017 Just returned from a wonderful trip on the Meraviglia. Trip report and cruise review will be done on another thread, but here is a pictorial of our cabin... Forward facing Aurea Suite, Cabin 10008 The Hallways are rather stark and could use some color or wall art... The cabin had a nice overall size...although it was smaller than expected. Living area plus master bedroom Master Bed Master closet So little storage area...closet with single vertical row of shelves and 2 drawers inside the closet....that's it. TV and mysterious empty wall rack in Master bedroom Door to veranda from master bedroom
computerworks Posted September 30, 2017 Author #2 Share Posted September 30, 2017 Living room. Everything was sparkling clean... a very crisp but economical construction. Desk area...minifridge under the phone. TV and desktop... the Desk had little surface area and no storage. There were both Euro and US power outlets... our Desk Phone LCD was cracked, but functional. Duplicate closet in living room
computerworks Posted September 30, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted September 30, 2017 Bathroom Bathroom was simply a dreadful design. Cheap fittings, tiny shower and literally no storage or countertop. Personally, I used the thermal suite to shower and shave each day. The Shower soap dispenser was broken...our cabin steward brought tubes of body wash as substitute when we mentioned it. Sink and "so called counter" area Shower
computerworks Posted September 30, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted September 30, 2017 Deck Deck and tub were great...size was fine for 2 loungers. The tub is more of a bathtub that a real hot tub. You could fill or empty it as you liked. There are no chemicals used. You have jet and temp controls on the side...temp settings up to 35 deg C
computerworks Posted September 30, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted September 30, 2017 Observations... Our Cabin Steward was friendly and efficient, but lacked details...left used glasses at times and had to keep requesting breakfast room service hangers. He did keep the cabin spotless with twice a day visits. We did our own drain and refills on the deck tub. The cabin was convenient to the elevator and in a very quiet area. I would definitely choose this cabin type again.

edspec Posted October 1, 2017 #10 Share Posted October 1, 2017 35 C does not seem very hot, more like body temp? I ask because we have a hot tub suite next June for Norway cruise, and I was thinking how nice it would be to sit in a hot tub...not lukewarm tub, and watch the scenery. Thank-you,
kerryincork Posted October 1, 2017 #11 Share Posted October 1, 2017 I had same cabin but on deck 12. You can turn the heat up to 37C. We also had a walk in closet in our cabin. I thought we had plenty of storage Sent from my SM-N910F using Forums mobile app
Rare BermudaBound2014 Posted October 1, 2017 #12 Share Posted October 1, 2017 No regular chairs with small table on the balcony? That seems odd. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
