Poll: Do You Care Who Your Cruise Director Is?

We don't book our cruises based on the cruise director. We tend to believe a cruise is what you make of it.

I have at least 1/2 dozen CDs that I consider friends, and often plan a desirable cruise to see them. I also know A few Cruise Directors who I have cruised with more than once who don't know me from Adam, even though I may have had the most Carnival cruise days on that voyage.

We don't go out of our way to meet the CD, usually. Don't expect or need their recognition. We do like a few, especially if their announcements are not too invasive.

Did have some fun with John Heald on Fascination a week or so ago, but wouldn't book a cruise based on his being onboard. :D
