Oasis Oct 1 (at sea now) - itinerary update

The Captain just announced that due to our necessary medical stop in Nassau, we will be skipping Labadee tomorrow.

 

We stopped today in nassau and the captain did an incredible job of “parking” this massive ship between the Allure of be Seas and Carnival Liberty. That was cool to watch! One of our fellow travelers required immediate transport to a hospital so this was a necessary stop. Prayers to that fellow cruiser and his/her family.

 

We were in port at Nassau for just a short while - I was asleep at the Solarium so I believe it was somewhere between 30 and 60 minutes.

 

The Captain literally just announced this change though. We were expecting to visit Labadee for a half a day, but now it looks like tomorrow will be a sea day. I believe he said we will get an extra two hours in Jamaica and an extra hour in Cozumel, but that’s where I may be a little fuzzy.

When we pulled away I dragged my hubby outside to see how massive they are compared to Atlantis. Wowza!
