easyboy Posted October 7, 2017 #5 Share Posted October 7, 2017 FTTF benefits that Diamond/Platinum have: https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1374/~/faster-to-the-fun-%28fttf%29 Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rare Colorado Coasty Posted October 7, 2017 #6 Share Posted October 7, 2017 If you are about to become Diamond, that means you have had all (and more) of the FTTF benefits since you became Platinum. You will be Diamond when you board your next cruise.
Retired_to_Cruise Posted October 7, 2017 #7 Share Posted October 7, 2017 Looking for opinions. Do we even get Diamond benefits on that cruise? Posted this question today (10/8/2017). But your post also shows that you are sailing on the Vista (10/07/2017). And you seem to not know that you have been Platinum for 125 cruising days and would not have needed FTTF while you were Platinum. Something sounds really fishy here. rainbowflag Posted October 7, 2017 #8 Share Posted October 7, 2017 Sounds more like the Hope Diamond Level: a Blue Card and yes, you'll wish you had purchased FTTF.
jkneern Posted October 7, 2017 #9 Share Posted October 7, 2017 Yes you need to purchase it right away........what are you waiting for:confused:
virginiab Posted October 7, 2017 #10 Share Posted October 7, 2017 It sounds like the OP said Daimond, while meaning Platinum. If that is the case, you will receive all the benefits of your new status at the beginning of the present cruise. So you probably do not need FTTF. Have a great cruise! I sure hope so. Otherwise they may have been "gifting" Carnival for FTTF in the past?

Moviela Posted October 8, 2017 #15 Share Posted October 8, 2017 Check your boarding pass. It will indicate your level for the whole cruise.
microbuck Posted October 8, 2017 #16 Share Posted October 8, 2017 No you don't. your typical useless answer, thanks for the input.
adamsmom Posted October 23, 2017 Author #17 Share Posted October 23, 2017 Yes - sorry! I meant Platinum. Whichever comes first. Now that we have returned from our last cruise, I see that our boarding passes currently say that we receive the benefits when we board our next one where we reach Platinum. Thank you for all your help! (And even to the ones that weren't so helpful....smh lol)
crusinpsychRN Posted October 23, 2017 #18 Share Posted October 23, 2017 I'm a bit surprised you're even asking this question. It's just...odd. Agreed.
ultrafighter Posted October 23, 2017 #19 Share Posted October 23, 2017 I admit I sometimes get irked by riclop's very to-the-point one-liners, but how was it a useless answer? It was correct...
sternfanla Posted October 24, 2017 #20 Share Posted October 24, 2017 I'm just kinda surprised with over 800 posts they need to ask this question. but i'm glad you did so others in the same boat as you are can also learn.
