Short Day at La Romana

We have a port call at La Romana on 30 November on the MSC Fantasia. Time in port is only from 07.00 to 15.00. The ship excursions haven't been published yet and from what I've researched private tours to nice places like Saona Island require much more time, at least until 17.00 in the afternoon. Any ideas?

Taxi to Casa de Campo or one of the other nearby hotels, buy a day pass, and spend the day at an all-inclusive. There are other beaches that aren't on hotel property you could also go to, but their names are slipping me right now. The beaches around La Romana are gorgeous, and you can enjoy a nice beach day with your shortened hours.
