Sea and Me Posted October 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2017 I just switched my cabin from Deck 10 front to a cabin on Deck 9 that is over the Waterfront . We are in the back of the ship, will I experience noise coming from the Waterfront?? Those of you that have had cabins on that deck what was your experience? Thanks for your posts, have a good day. lmm1967 Posted October 26, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2017 Have not stayed in one of those rooms - however - that area of the ship, in our 2 cruises on Escape, has always been the most unused and quiet area.
zqvol Posted October 26, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2017 The waterfront always seems to me to be very quiet.
15625RRPN Posted October 27, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 27, 2017 We were on The Getaway in late September doing a Baltic Cruise and were on Deck 9, which NCL lists as Forward. We were over the Waterfront and we didn’t find the “noise” bothersome. We didn’t even hear any noise! The part of The outdoor area of the Waterfront we were over may not have been crowded with people during the Baltic cruise, so depending on what your cabin is over guess it could be more noisy. I think the area was near the Humidor / Cigar Lounge as seemed from time to time there were people smoking on the deck below, but even that wasn’t bothering to us. We don’t smoke so if it was noticeable we would have been bothered, but it was no bother either. Hope this helps.
