A question about the Celebrity cruise between Singapore and Mid. East

This concerns visas.

 

Putting India aside, can someone tell me the process for the reminder of the ports that say you can get them upon arrival . Does Celebrity have a process to obtain visas for passengers or is there some secondary process the passenger must follow that takes extra time to depart?

Since you didn't list the ports you are asking about, I can only tell you that for our itinerary the ship handles Vietnam visa.

Ship dealt with visas (where required) for Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and UAE. The only country we needed to get visas in advance was India

Thanks. This is exactly what I was asking : Does celebrity obtain the visa within the same time frame as they clear the passports at these ports.

The only port on our trip that I seem to get conflicting information is Oman. Does anyone have clarity about the visa timing situation there? Have a all day trip that could be affected by a lengthy visa process at port.

Because the ship held our passports, the visa process was done behind the scenes and we were never delayed when getting off the ship
