Kittybork Posted October 31, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 31, 2017 Which Hop On/Hop Off Trolley should we take in Key West from the RCCL Port to get a good overview of the island before we decide to walk to different areas? Thank you! We enjoyed the Old Town Trolley, but I have no idea if it's operational since the storm. https://www.trolleytours.com/key-west/1-day-tour
bhopal21 Posted October 31, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 31, 2017 City View Trolley is the best value for your money and their trolleys are more comfortable having padded seating. http://www.cityviewtrolleys.com/keywest/index.html Mike

I just booked my return for next fall, so I'm just back in the forum. This trolley doesn't wasted time (IMO) going outside the Duval area and out into the residential area like Old Town did (again maybe old news)

IWantToLiveOverTheSea Posted November 9, 2017 #8 Share Posted November 9, 2017 (edited) I'm planning to take the free trolley (bus?) no narrative, just transportation, but the price is right and it goes close to almost every place I want to go. About the only place that's missing is Fort Zachary, but that's no big deal to me. If I have time for that, I'll just walk down there. peter_krynicki Posted November 10, 2017 #9 Share Posted November 10, 2017 Have you seen the new Duval Loop ---> https://www.carfreekeywest.com/duval-loop It is similar to the trolleys and the Conch Train but it if *free*. It's an attempt to achieve a car-fee Key West. Pjk
bling19572010 Posted November 15, 2017 Author #10 Share Posted November 15, 2017 Thank you everyone for your comments! Which trolley/train would give us the best overview of Key West (free/or fee is fine). We want to see and get a narrated tour before we hop off and decide to walk around on our own and explore. Where would we meet this "best" trolley/train tour? If you could post websites for these trolley/trains that would be so helpful. Thank you! bhopal21 Posted November 16, 2017 #11 Share Posted November 16, 2017 If you desire a narrated tour there are only two: Old Town Trolley https://www.trustedtours.com/store/old-town-trolley-tour-of-key-west.aspx and City View Trolley https://prod.mkat.com/mktixrun/shared/mknporun?dir=custom.MKT-895.CVKW-E22923&Event=CVKW-E22923&page=mk2eventregisterfrm.jsp The latter being cheaper and better overall. You will have no trouble locating either if arriving via ship as they will be directly in front of you. Mike.:)

I remember it when I was there longer ago than I care to admit. It had a great narration with a hilarious driver. We have it booked again this September as a throw back memory for me. We are thinking of doing the loop and then walking back to the Hemingway House and back down Duval Street to the ship.
