Zeldon Posted November 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2017 Hi, I'm travelling on the Caribbean Princess in December. I want to bring something to hold my towel to the pool lounger chair. I'm not buying a specialty item (fancy clips, etc) - think dollar store in Canada (ie summery things not available anymore). I've seen binder clips mentioned - what size? Clothes pins? Bungee cords? Note: I know this has been covered before, but it's always buried deep and I couldn't find anything solid in 5min so I posted. Feel free to link to those though. Thank you! JF - retired RRT Posted November 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2017 Hi, I'm travelling on the Caribbean Princess in December. I want to bring something to hold my towel to the pool lounger chair. I'm not buying a specialty item (fancy clips, etc) - think dollar store in Canada (ie summery things not available anymore). I've seen binder clips mentioned - what size? Clothes pins? Bungee cords? It would have to be a really BIG binder clip or clothes pin. The tubing on the chairs/loungers is maybe a 3/4 to 1" diameter. A bungee cord might work, do a trial run on a chair for an approximate length. You could use some kind of clamp, maybe. Or spring for a towel clip...Amazon has some that wouldn't cost as much as something from the dollar store. https://www.amazon.com/Bluelans-Plastic-Hanging-Loungers-Cruise-Keep/dp/B072FSG3RM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1509894751&sr=8-2&keywords=towel+clips+for+beach+chairs+cruise
Rare MrSchwump Posted November 5, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 5, 2017 I bought a set of 4” spring clamps at Lowe’s. They were a couple bucs each and work great. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
WVBill Posted November 5, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2017 If you are using the lounger, why do you need something to hold your towell on it? Sent from my SM-P580 using Forums mobile app
chrysalis Posted November 5, 2017 #5 Share Posted November 5, 2017 you can get large, blue plastic spring clothes clips at the Dollar Store...they work perfectly on Princess loungers. I think that there are 8 to a pack.

Sent from my SM-P580 using Forums mobile app I think you'd find out real fast when you leave the chair vacant while in the pool & the wind blows the towel off. :D
easyboy Posted November 5, 2017 #7 Share Posted November 5, 2017 Towel clips are not really expensive. Got one at Walmart. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
