flamingos Posted November 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2017 We are taking a 5-day on Independence and suddenly 8 of our friends are joining us! It's going to be epic, indeed. :p We have all booked separately, but everyone has 6 p.m. dining. How do we request a large table (or two tables in the same section) that can accommodate 10 or more, as more friends decide to go?
Rjh8842 Posted November 11, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2017 Call royal and they can set it up before you board. But if your group gets too big they will have to split you up.

Clarea Posted November 11, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 11, 2017 Generally, the max table size is 12, and even that is a bit unwieldy. I'd opt for two smaller tables near each other.

For 12 or less they'll likely give you one table. You can check that they're linked by logging into your reservations on line and look at the very bottom of the page. It shows the last 4 of any reservation linked to yours. Anyone on that page will be assigned the same table.
flamingos Posted November 11, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted November 11, 2017 Thanks for all the replies! I have never linked reservations before - it surely would have made things easier on some of my past cruises. Thanks again.

Clarea Posted January 18, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 18, 2018 How do you link reservations? If all reservations were made using Royal's website, you can use that website to do the linking. Otherwise contact whoever made the booking.
