imae39 Posted November 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 16, 2017 Has anyone been on a cruise where a Card Players Group was onboard? I'm wondering how many this would involve and how much the cruise would be impacted with this group. Especially the MDR.
Rare Scrapnana Posted November 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 16, 2017 I was on with a group of card players a couple of years ago. They played almost all the time including some port days. They had a large room in which they played and did not disrupt any other venues from what I could see. YMMV
Sir PMP Posted November 16, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 16, 2017 Has anyone been on a cruise where a Card Players Group was onboard?I'm wondering how many this would involve and how much the cruise would be impacted with this group. Especially the MDR. zero impact, they play bridge all day, and don't bother anyone, it should not impact the MDR unless there are 500 plus of them on board, normally they are small groups of 80 or so.. Krazy Kruizers Posted November 16, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 16, 2017 Years ago we were on several cruises with Bridge players -- totally dedicated to playing all day. They were assigned to play in one room -- not a large one -- and they played all morning, all afternoon and well into the evening. Even on port days. They had no impact on our cruise. There were maybe 50 of them including the leaders/instructures I would not worry about any card playing group.
