can we add to our dining package on the first day?

We are boarding the Star on Dec. 1st. We have a dining package for 4 dinners included. Can I add to this package or do I have to buy another package if we want more specialty dining. We are going on a 15 cruise and will probably want more opportunities in SD venues.

You can add anytime (before or after boarding) but the minimum to buy is 3 per person. It is $10 less if purchased online.

We thought about adding to ours, but then realized that between our four-night SDP package, eating probably two or three more evening meals at Ginza (free) and one or two at O'Sheehan's (ditto), over half of our evening meals would be someplace other than a MDR. We can do MDRs for the rest of the evenings without feeling too deprived.

 

YMMV, of course.

You cannot add to a promo dining package— you can buy a second one with at least three meals.
