cltnccruisers Posted January 19, 2018 #26 Share Posted January 19, 2018 Strange that they were not running when I was there and a park employee told me they were not running and would probably not run ever again. You would think she would know if they were running. You trust a government employee to tell you what's going on in the real world?

dmdiver Posted February 2, 2018 #30 Share Posted February 2, 2018 I'm glad I ran across this thread. We were planning on just wandering in San Juan - may toodle around on the trolley! Thanks!
JimboCozumel Posted February 3, 2018 #31 Share Posted February 3, 2018 Was in Old San Juan on the Carnival Conquest January 25th, 2018. A group of 6 of us caught the trolley around 9am to El Morro it was opened. Cost of $7 each to enter, toured for about 2 hours and walked mostly downhill toward the dock area and stopped in at Barrachina for their world famous Pina Coladas then did some shopping on the way back to the cruise ship before our 2pm departure. Nice day trip.
sweets2323 Posted February 5, 2018 #32 Share Posted February 5, 2018 We got on the green trolley and it was free. We went to both forts and back around. Walked around and shopped on the strip near the port. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
cltnccruisers Posted February 6, 2018 #33 Share Posted February 6, 2018 I've seen this question posed before but don't recall seeing a firm answer- does anyone know how lat the trolleys run?

sweets2323 Posted February 7, 2018 #37 Share Posted February 7, 2018 Where did you catch the trolley at? Was there a map? I took it in front of this place that had a Map of old San Juan and a wall in the back of it. We exited the ship and made a right. But the trolly went right back to where the ship was. So I come have stayed over there and took the trolly as well. We went to both forts. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Princesshhi Posted February 18, 2018 #40 Share Posted February 18, 2018 I didn't know there were 2 forts in OSJ. Are they close to each other. And can the trolley take us to both.
KatPem Posted February 18, 2018 #41 Share Posted February 18, 2018 I didn't know there were 2 forts in OSJ. Are they close to each other. And can the trolley take us to both. The trolley can take you to both. San Cristobal is first, then El Morro. It is an easy, pretty flat walk along the sidewalk (about a mile) if you choose to walk between them though. It is a very beautiful walk! The cemetary before you get to El Morro is worth a lot as well. Very beautiful!
TNcruiser829 Posted February 18, 2018 #42 Share Posted February 18, 2018 I looked at the website to try and determine if the trolleys have a lift for electric scooters. Does anyone know if any of them have a lift?
Getting out there Posted February 18, 2018 #43 Share Posted February 18, 2018 There is not a lift. The driver helped some elderly people up the steep bus steps. Only 1 of the 2 trolleys are operating right now (Feb. 17, 2018)
