Superdottie Posted November 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2017 Does Disney still leave gifts in the staterooms for Castaway members? We sailed our second cruise in March, 2017 and realized after the trip we didn’t receive anything. If the gifts are still happening, could we expect two on a B2B? moki'smommy Posted November 26, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 26, 2017 Yes, there should be a gift in your room. A B2B counts as 2 cruises in all ways. Yes, you should get a gift in your room on each of the legs of your B2B.

The current gift is a sling bag (one strap backpack) for Silver CC level. Yes, you'll receive 2 gifts on a B2B.
Superdottie Posted November 26, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted November 26, 2017 Thank you! Always helpful! Hmmm... B2B means the option of two placeholders, just in case. [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Forums

moki'smommy Posted November 26, 2017 #6 Share Posted November 26, 2017 Unlike some other lines, Disney does nothing in any way to combine a B2B. You will close out your account at the end of each leg. You will attend the muster drill both times, even if you are keeping the same cabin. You cannot carry over any internet time you have purchased. On their books, it is two totally separate cruises that just happen to occur one right after the other. On the other hand, we've had B2Bs where the cruise line had arranged a few perks for the large number of B2B cabins (we did a TA and first Med cruise several years ago where this happened). We've had phone calls from dining services asking if we had any special requests for the second leg (rotation, server, whatever) and if we had all the reservations we needed for adult dining. Superdottie Posted November 26, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted November 26, 2017 Very nice! And I didn’t realize I could book two placeholders per cruise. Good to know! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Superdottie Posted November 27, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted November 27, 2017 Curious, we currently have the same cabin for out B2B. But I’m considering upgrading for the second cruise. If I do, will we have to take our luggage with us off the ship between cruises? Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Sent from my iPhone using Forums No, but you'll pack up and either leave it in your room or hand it to your room host the turnaround day morning to be be delivered to your next room.
