How to get to Jetty Park from Port Canaveral

We are sailing on December 15 on the Breakaway to Port Canaveral. We would like to go to Jetty Park Beach. Any info on how to get there. Are there cabs that go there? How much is fare? Any information on transportation would be helpful.

Jetty Park is about a mile from the Port. There is a park admission of $15 per car per day for non-Brevard county residents. I've camped there many times, but I've never seen any taxi's in the park itself. Check out this link for more info...admission fees are at the bottom of the page

Not sure if you are going for the pier but if so make sure it will be open. I was researching it for our cruise that we just got back from. It has been closed due to damage from a storm. Not sure the expected reopening date.

It is a 1.6 mile walk from the front of the Terminal 1 building, so about 2.0 mile from the ship itself. Walkable if you want or get a cab. If you don't dock at Terminal 1 then it's much farther away.

 

Be aware you must walk out to George King Blvd, you cannot short cut along the waterfront. Look on Google Maps and map it from "Royal Caribbean Terminal" to "Jetty Park Pier"

1 - 2 miles may seem far but there are watering holes along the way. ;p I was there a few years ago and there was no charge to enter the beach or pier.
