Best things to do in Port Canaveral?

We have been to Port Canaveral a few times and done the popular activities (Universal, Disney, Space center, CoCo beach). Was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions of places to go. We are planning to just stay on the ship but we are always up for a new adventure. Also, we would be there on Christmas Eve. Thanks.

Catch a cab and go to cocoa beach pier and maybe walk along the beach and visit Ron Jon's surf shop.

Good restaurants in the port and the observation tower is interesting. Take a cab to Titusville airport and visit the aviation museum there. Kennedy Space Center is always interesting.

Do not know what time your ship arrives, but if you are here in the morning there is a big even on Cocoa Beach by Coconuts. ( downtown) It is called " Surfing Santas". People dress as Santa, elves etc and surf. There is music and is quite entertaining. Last year there were over 600 " santas" and tis year 1000 are expected. It is a fun, no cost event.
