Considering Celebrity Cruise

Well we just like to relax, go to dinner, shows, probably just sit by the pool, does it matter if it’s an M class or an S and we would just do a 7 day. What ship would you recommend and if we purchase the aqua spa package which is better

I don't think it really matters between the two classes other than the "S" class ships are newer and larger than the "M" class. But the stateroom categories, shows, food, venues, and level of service are essentially the same. I would maybe look at the itinerary you like then see which ships serve that.

How is celebrity for people in there late 30s

Depends on the person. I think I would have enjoyed Celebrity in my 30's but I'm pretty laid back. If you are into activities, top entertainment and parties the RC Oasis class ships are hard to beat.

We have been on Carnival (and had very good experiences), Celebrity, Princess and RC (Oasis Class). When I think of Celebrity I think of relaxation, service, contemporary layout and, in my mind, the best buffet. The buffet in particular has great selection compared to my other experiences and is designed in a way that never seems as crowded as others. The main dining is not my first choice. The food is very well prepared and I think it is just not necessarily the type of food I would chose. For others it is probably right up their alley. The S class ships never seem crowded to me. As to service the fact that there is an assigned attendant for every bathroom and cloth towels give you an idea of the level of service they are trying to provide.

I also have not experienced lines on the S class ships I've been on. Only once when there was a moderate long line at the Mast Grill. But within minutes on officer was on site and pulled employees for other stations to reduce the wait time to almost nothing.

We've been on Celebrity twice and NCL once. We enjoy Celebrity because it is classy and relaxing. The food is very good all around and it is nice having adults only areas mainly the solarium. One thing that hasn't been mentioned is the fact that Celebrity is non-smoking in the casino and all general areas. They have designated smoking areas. If you are a non-smoker then this is a huge plus! Our teen daughter enjoys the teen club as she is not an action type but enjoys experiencing the ship and having a laid back vacation. We were on both Reflection and Silhouette and scheduled for a Christmas cruise again on the Silhouette. Both ships are very nice with a slight nod to the Silly. Having a drink package is great even if you are not a big drinker (we are not). Overall very relaxing if not too exciting.
