smith6 Posted November 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2017 Are there lots of shops and restaraunts at the port within walking distance of the ship? Where we could just get off and browse around?
Rare MrSchwump Posted December 1, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 1, 2017 Not that I recall. It’s been 3 years but the cruise terminal is in a commercial/industrial area. There are shops inside the terminal itself but otherwise you’ll probably need to taxi somewhere for more choices. Rare Keith1010 Posted December 1, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 1, 2017 It depends where you dock. We docked at the main area and at the port there is a terminal with lots of shops. From there if you walk towards the town on the left hand side there are some very unique shops which I recommend. We have purchased local items there. It is only a five to ten minute walk when leaving the port parking lot. This is the area with the stores I mentioned. Keith
Teapot Posted December 7, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 7, 2017 Near the restrooms in the terminal there is a kiosk where a local artist sells prints, postcards, and magnets with prints, and sand glued on for the beach-- a little bit different!
