Royal aft balconie soot issue?

Hey Steeler FanXL, glad to read your post. We will be in that cabin D726 in Feb for a 10 day. Our first time in an aft suite, any other tips or recommendation you can give us on the location or the suite. Much appreciated.

We will be on the royal in an aft balcony in 2 weeks so I will report back after the trip.

We will be in D 726 -Regal in January. With the huge wrap around balcony,I hope there are few soot problems. Anybody know?

Just back from our cruise. Had no soot issues at all.

Seajay312, the suite was nice. Enjoyed the balcony. You will get your daily exercise walking front to back.

Was our first time in full suite, enjoyed CC dining and breakfast in Sabatini's. Also, take advantage of the Concierge to make any reservations and relax in there before disembarkation at the end of your trip.

We were in an aft cabin on the Royal and had minor soot problems. The carpeting in our cabin was quite stained from walking in and out. Our steward did a great job of cleaning the balcony every morning and we never really saw any build up. Just a few chunks of black carbon every couple of mornings. Like I said it was cleaned up daily and we used the balcony a lot throughout the day. Still loved that aft balcony.
