jewelery stores open in St. Thomas

We will be on the Reflection on Dec 15 and I was wondering if there are recommendations for jewellery stores that are open yet?

Don't know if they are open, but I have been quite happy with Ajanta Jewelers in Charlotte Amalie. Well worth the short taxi ride, and they are well reviewed on tripadvisor dot com.

Ajanta is a great place. I received a card from them saying they are open.

My favorite store downtown Diamond Express was open and got a great deal on a new diamond Both rings that I got from there (one of them three years ago )appraised more than double when i got home

We are very happy with the jewelry we purchased from Bobby's Jewlers about 12 or 13 years ago. We are planning to stop in again next month in January.

We have purchased several items at The Grand. On St. Thomas and smaller one on St. Martin as well...do not know if they are open.

I have been wanting to purchase diamond studs and wanted to wait til we took our cruise... but then I thought about it and I got somewhat scared. Whose to say I’m going to get real diamonds? And then I’m stuck because it’s not like I can do anything about it if they’re fake. Are you at all hesitant to buy diamonds on the islands?

By paying with credit card you could possibly dispute it particularly in St Thomas as it is part of the US. All of the jewelers listed have been in business for many years with a loyal clientele, bad press would not let them be in business long.

How to get to Jewerly stores from dock?

There are jewelry stores at both docks but many more in town. You can also buy liquors you can't find at home, and Bay Rum fragrances that are hard to find in the States.
