Can OBC for multiple room be added to one room ?

Hi,

 

I am taking my family and in-laws on cruise next month. I am sponsoring the trip and have booked 4 rooms. The promo was $200 OBC for each room. I want to know, if I can move the OBC for other 3 rooms to my account? This will reduce my expenses by $600.

 

If yes, then kindly suggest how this can be done.

Technically no, but there is a way around it. On our last cruise we did this...

 

Two cabins, two people in each.

 

My cabin was set up with both of us on my CC, we had $325 OBC

Other cabin was set up with each occupant on a different CC, the person in question had $25 OBC.

 

We went to guest services once on the ship and had them combine the accounts (mine for two people and his for one) and all charges and OBC were put into a single account. We did set it up so that all charges went on his CC, but on the last day I went down and paid our share of the bill with my CC and all was well.

 

 

 

All the rooms will be on CC. So can I ask guest services to move OBC to my account?

I believe they might consolidate the OBC if you register your CC for all 4 cabins. Best to call and ask them directly though. The answers you get here may or may not be correct.

If all of the rooms are on your cc (i.e. you are paying the onboard accounts for all rooms) then why does it matter which rooms the OBC is associated with? Your total bill would be the same either way.

I don’t know how it works between rooms. But on our last cruise we had two people with separate accounts on one room. We wanted all the OBC to go to one person but it had automatically been split. We went to guest services and they were able to move it by essentially ordering new OBC for the person we wanted to get it and using the OBC on my account to pay for it. I don’t see why that couldn’t be done between rooms.
