kokopelli-az Posted December 7, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2017 Will be on the Summit next month and our itinerary says we arrive in San Juan at 6:00am. What time can passengers actually disembark from the ship? We would be self disembarking and catching a cab to SJU. I am wondering if a 10:55 am flight is doable. jcpc Posted December 7, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2017 I was on Summit repo cruise that arrived in San Juan on October 28th. I was off the ship at 8 am and sitting at my gate at SJU in less than an hour. So.......as long as the ship is not late getting into port for some reason I would say you would make that flight. Just do self-disembark, hop into a taxi (which are plentiful at the pier) and go directly to the airport. You will be arriving at the airport before the "crowds" get there so check-in and security lines should not be too long. I also recommend that you use a porter at the pier even though you are capable of carrying your own bags. They seemed to have a "priority line" to go through for immigration - I went right through with a porter while I watched all the "non-porter" folks standing in a long line.
