AdamKnows Posted December 10, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2017 Yesterday I upgraded our cabin from an E1 to a Grand Balcony Suite. I selected cabin 1552 due to being near the forward elevators. I like the location but I am concerned about motion due to being so far forward. 1274 is still forward but is a bit closer to mid ship. If you were me would you keep 1552 or would you change to 1274? Other available cabins are 1260, 1264, 1268. Thank you in advance for your help!
Clarea Posted December 10, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2017 I would not choose 1274 because it has a connecting door. I believe 1264 is one with the gold tinted balcony glass. I'd stick to what you have.
taglovestocruise Posted December 10, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 10, 2017 We just got off the Independence 16 night transatlantic. We had 1536 which is much more forward than your cabin. Can honestly say we felt nothing the entire trip. I would definitely follow Bob's advice and stay away from the connecting cabin, our cabin 1536 was a connecting cabin and for some odd reason there was a whistling sound from the door, maintenance came and taped it up the second day. Deck ten is considered the Suite deck because of the large number of Suites and the attendants are fantastic. happy cruising
