Uber in Cape Canaveral to the beach

Hi,

Has anyone done uber to Cocoa Beach? Just trying to figure out if we need to pre book a shuttle... there are 6 of us.

Just a reminder, a regular Uber can only take 4. You'll need to book two cars, or an Uber XL.

 

(Not yet familiar with the port, but an Uber driver)

Yes, you can Uber.

As far as I know Uber is not allowed in the port unless dropping off.

Only 888 Taxi company is allowed IN the port without having to pay a fee. 888 does have vans.

 

You can have them drop you off at the beach nearest the port, which would be a side street, just past the big curve of A-1-A. 2 blocks down the side street to a Public beach area on Ridgewood Ave.

You would have to make a 'Pick-up Time' or at least the cab company phone # in case the cabbie that dropped you off was on a run to the airport and 888 would send out another cab.

Public beaches are every few blocks along Ridgeway, but can't be seen by those that stay on Atlantic (A-1-A). Bring up a map of the area and you can see what I'm speaking about

 

The shuttle runs for certain stops and 'Times' such as Ron Jons and the beach there, which is usually packed, but does have facility's, shopping and life guards.
