Upgrading beverage package

We have the classic beverage package. We see that Jack Daniels is now "a Premium alcohol. Does anyone know what the cost of a Jack and soda spritz is ? Trying to determine whether to pay per drink up charge or switch over to Premium package. Thanks !

Unless you plan on drinking a lot, 8 or 9 drinks a day all premium, it's not worth 11.80 each day. The up charge is usually a couple of dollars more for each drink. With that said, the premium package includes vitamin waters and better bnamr brand waters. The non premium water was just fine for us.

JD is all my hubby drinks. He would probably have 5 or 6 over the course of a whole day

You can wait until you board to see if an upgrade is worth it.

It would be $1 + .18% grat so $1.18 per drink. If he drank 6 your cost per day would be $7.08. To upgrade would cost you 11.80 per day.

We went ahead and upgraded ahead of time thru TA. Felt it was worth it not only for the top shelf liquor selection, but for better wines(etc.) as well. Will give it a go and see if we feel it was worth the extra for the 10 day cruise next November.

My husband only drinks Jack D. as well, so I felt I should upgrade for him. And since he was doing it, I thought "why not" and got it for me so I can drink Grey Goose during the vacation....!;):D

As a contrast, JD is on the included (regular) drink package on our May cruise with HAL, so no need to upgrade there. At least not yet....they may change their mind before next May. We will see.

any idea what the cost of red bull is on its own? I see its only apart of the premium package, and I have purchased the classic. I don't mind the vodka's on the Classic list for mix, but with Red Bull not included I may have to pay for the upgrade.
