Margaritaville in Ocho Rios

Can one safely and easily walk from the ship to Margaritaville in Ocho Rios? Will be there on Dec 26 and wondering.

If you dock at the pier right near Margaritaville, yes, very easily.. In fact you don't even have to go out among the locals and be hassled to do it! We had lunch there after Dunn's River, drinks and loved the pool bar... a great place to hang out and nice shops nearby as well!! We will definitely go back... the DJ they had there in Sept. was awesome if you are into mass participation.. we were too worn out from Sr Frogs the day before;)

If you dock at James Bond pier I don't believe you'd want to walk it...

Yes, I agree. If you are docked at the pier on the right as you are facing the island it's no problem. We walked back to the ship from Margaritaville with our 2 children.

An Easy walk with nice shopping.

Just last evening i was saying to my BF how much i enjoyed going to Margaritaville last January.
