ranchette Posted December 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2017 What is the difference between the junior spa suites and a junior suite? We booked a junior suite category J3 does this cabin have a walk in shower?
Rare tennislvr8 Posted December 26, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 26, 2017 In a have been looking into this too. We booked a junior suite on the anthem too thinking it had a walk in closet. The spa junior suite J4 is for 2 people and had a 1 and a half bathrooms with a separate shower and soaking tub. The J3 JS doesn't have a walk in closet nor a half bath. It does have a shower/tub combo and can hold 4 people. Sent from my SM-G935V using Forums mobile app
mworkman Posted December 26, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 26, 2017 I just looked at several J1-J4 cabins and didn't see any difference in bathrooms or closets.
Rare tennislvr8 Posted December 26, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 26, 2017 I just looked at several J1-J4 cabins and didn't see any difference in bathrooms or closets. You didn't look at the JS on the Anthem of the Seas then. JS on other ships have a walk in closet, the JS on anthem do not. The spa JS and the regular JS have different bathrooms as I said above. maria1122 Posted December 27, 2017 #9 Share Posted December 27, 2017 Love the spa jr. Suite on the Anthem. It is the only stateroom with the walk-in large shower. It has an overhead rain and a wall hand held.

AlanLW9 Posted December 27, 2017 #17 Share Posted December 27, 2017 No double C+A Points in a spa suite where there Js does I’m pretty certain that all three types of JS get the extra point. Why do you say otherwise?

maria1122 Posted December 27, 2017 #19 Share Posted December 27, 2017 No double C+A Points in a spa suite where there Js does Sent from my iPhone using Forums Yes you do earn double points in a spa jr. Suite. We always book one because I am not able to climb into a bathtub to access the shower in the other jr. Suites.

Rare Turtles06 Posted December 28, 2017 #22 Share Posted December 28, 2017 We sailed in a Spa Junior Suite on Anthem's inaugural TA. We LOVED this cabin. Spacious, comfortable, tons of storage. Loved the sitting area on the sofa next to the balcony. The walk-in shower was fabulous (I don't do tubs, especially at sea). And, while unnecessary, it was still nice to have that half-bath (although it took me a couple of nights to remember which bathroom I'd put my toothbrush in ;p). Great location on the straight part of the hump, near the elevators. We loved the SJS so much we have another one booked in February. 888sydney Posted December 28, 2017 #23 Share Posted December 28, 2017 Side question on JS/SJS, has RCI now got rid of SJS in their website and used J4 for SJS and J1-J3 for other JS? Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Depends on the cruise date. Prior to May 2018, they are still using the JS/SJS categories. From May 2018 on, they are using the J1-J4 categories.
