luckyprincess Posted December 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 27, 2017 (edited) Hi! We want to have a resort day. We get in at 8 and leave around midnight. We are interested in an all inclusive but I think the Hilton gives a food voucher? Can anyone give me their opinions? I've searched here but my head is spinning from different threads. Also how is the taxi situation on Nassau? Safe? Anything we should know? Edited December 27, 2017 by luckyprincess
mjkacmom Posted December 27, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 27, 2017 Only been to the Hilton, harbor beach, small pool, voucher will buy you lunch and a drink. We’ve been to Cable beach, much nicer than Hilton’s beach, sandals will be nicer but more expensive than Breezes. We have also done RIU on cabbage beach which we’ve enjoyed (plus Melia and Atlantis). The Hilton would be on the bottom. Taxis are safe and plentiful.
tw67 Posted December 28, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 28, 2017 We did Breezes on Christmas Day. We enjoyed our day, but wouldn't do it again. No one under age 14, my youngest is almost 15, so Breezes was fine, but we couldn't do ones that were age 18 and up. tw67 Posted January 1, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 1, 2018 Thanks! What was the reason you wouldn't do it again? Seemed like a lot of money for what you got. We didn't know what would be open on Christmas, so we booked it to make sure we had something to do. Goplayball Posted January 5, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 5, 2018 We did the Breezes last May. I loved it. Used our food voucher for drinks. Drinks were good and strong. I think we got 2 with voucher but bartender threw in a few more.

cruiseapril Posted January 10, 2018 #11 Share Posted January 10, 2018 Our vote is for the BC Hilton as it is within walking distance of the ship.
dacsmom Posted January 15, 2018 #12 Share Posted January 15, 2018 I really liked the British Colonial Hilton. One of the best fish sandwiches I have ever had. Staff is very friendly. Nice beach, pool, life-sized chess and checkers. $40 in food vouchers, the food is pricey but good. The best thing is it is an easy walk from the port. Would go again.
